REcapture is a joint venture

REcapture is a joint venture between Paladin EnviroTech and Critical Materials Recycling, with Daeheung as technology partner in South Korea. It exists to recover rare-earth magnet material domestically, from assets Paladin already retires.

How the venture is put together

Two sides of one recovery process

Paladin brings the feedstock and the chain of custody. CMR brings the recovery chemistry. Neither works without the other.

Paladin EnviroTech

Feedstock and custody

Retired drives, motors and turbine generators arrive through the same collection and destruction process as everything else, with the record already attached.

Critical Materials Recycling

Recovery and refining

CMR is REcapture's technology partner for rare-earth recovery, refining recovered material into high-purity oxides that re-enter domestic manufacturing.

Daeheung

Technology partner, South Korea

The Korean side of the partnership network, working on the recovery process alongside CMR.

What comes out

Four elements, recovered from equipment that already exists

The venture began domestic magnet recovery in August 2026, targeting the elements that matter most to motors, drives and defense.

Neodymium

The primary magnet element in motors, drives and wind turbines.

Praseodymium

Typically recovered alongside neodymium from the same magnet material.

Dysprosium

Improves magnet performance at high temperature, critical for defense and EV motors.

Terbium

Recovered from retired hard drives, motors and wind turbine generators.

Ask about feedstock

If you are retiring drives, motors or turbine generators at volume, there is a recovery route for the magnet material inside them.
